SERPs Getting Started Guide

1. Add a new site to your account

There are two ways to add a new site into your SERPs account:

  • Import the site from a connected Google Analytics account (recommended)
  • Add the site manually

2. Connect multiple Google Analytics accounts

SERPs can handle multiple Google Analytics accounts, each account will need to authorize SERPs to fetch data from it.

Click the “connect a new account link” in the add website section:

3. Add additional keywords to track

By default all keywords are initially set up to track at the nationwide level. No local city or zip code is set. Your country is auto-detected on signup. To change the default country for a website, see your settings page.

To add more keywords to track, paste in a list in the “Add Keywords” popup in the keywords section:

4. Track keywords in multiple countries

To track a keyword in a new country, you must select an existing keyword and add that keyword to a new country. Then that country will be available to add for that project.

5. Track keywords in a city or zip code

To track a keyword in a specific city or zip code, you must select an existing keyword and create a new location. Then that city or zip code will be available to add for that project.

6. Set up an experiment to test your SEO work

With the Tests tool, you can set up an experiment (‘new link’ or ‘title tag changed’) and see how rankings and organic traffic to a page and keyword perform after that point in time.

9. Upload your own custom logo

If your plan supports white-labeling, you’ll see a logo upload section in your settings page. There you can upload two versions of your logo for different areas of the app (login page, pdf reports, main header, footer).

Watch how to upload your logo:

10. Set up a login on your own custom domain

With a full white-label account, you can set up a login to your branded SERPs app on your own domain. Just point a CNAME to ‘serps.com’ and then contact support to finish the setup.
